Älvsbyn:

The region of Älvsbyn is an outdoor-sports region. The waters and the Bothian Sea are rich of fish. Possibilities for water sports, like canoeing are boundles. In the same way as skiing, only a few minutes from Älvsbyn you´ll find a down-hill
skiing area.

Numerous nature reserves like Nackteberget or Dubblabergen with it´s deep forests and still waters.

The climbing location of Dödlarsberget is a special challenge for climbers not only from Scandinavia.
Every year on the first weekend of February you can experience the meanwhile world famous samish market of Jokkmokk, only one hour away from our camp Mjövattnet. But during the whole there are many opportunities to expirience the traditional life of the samish people.

Last but not least you can discover our adventure camp, where you can spend the nights in genuine “Lavvus”, the traditional tents of the reindeer breeders. An arctic night in the heatable tent you´ll never forget.
