Requirements:
The expedition lasts about 8-10, the whole trip 14 days. Planned for several stages we are completely independent and work together as a team. Everything we need we will carry in our bags.
You need curiosity about new things, a good staying power, team spirit and the mood to discover unknown places.
The expedition will start at the end of April. So the weather situation is quiet better and the days are already longer. Daylight lasts from about 6 a.m. untill about 8 p.m. Extrem deep temperatures are now very rare.

The following services are included:
- all transfers from/till the airport and to the trekking startpoints and back
- overnight stay in Mjövattnet on the first day and the day after the expedition
- preparation and guiding of the expedition, for total travel- and trekking time see description below
- all food during the expedition
- included winter equipment: tent, sleeping bag, trekking mat, cooker and kitchen utensils, pulka-sleds, trekking poles, ski or snow-shoes, insulation clothing
We also have additional equipment for rent or to buy. Please contact us via e-mail. There are no special requirements to take part in the tours. But we need teamplayers, who are willing to help with the daily work on the tour.

Expedition
To the seven summits – winter expedition 2009
The enormous mountain range of the „Ahkka“ consists of seven summits, Stortoppen is the highest with 2015 metres.
It ist the “Queen of Lapland” and the holy mountain of the samish people.
The expedition´s challenge is not the height of the mountain or to reach the summit. Compared to the Alps avalanches or crevasses can´t called dangerous and there are no big height differences to cover.
Target of the expedition are the mountain and the landscape thereselves. We want to experience the seclusion of this region, feel the power of nature there and how it is to live under these conditions even though only for a short time.
Usually, everybody who wants to take part in such an expedition must be an experienced alpinists or has to pay a lot of money. We offer this opportunity for all. Everybody with a good staying power and the will to master this challenge can participate. Basic knowledges of skiing are profitable.
