The „home of the giants“ – Jotunheimen Nationalpark / Norway
You can find the traces of the last ice age everywhere: gigantic rocks, cutted mountains, deep glacier lakes.
Fall and winter are the most impressive times in this area and made for trekking and hiking.
We pass the highest mountains of Scandinavia, enormous plateaus, we walk along picturesque lakes and enjoy the silence, far from every civilisation.
If we find reliable snow conditions (mostly from november on) we walk on snow-shoes. If you want use your own ski equipment.
